Smith Case Study
BEFORE –
Mid-century split-level was beginning to show it’s age and really needed a curb appeal update.
AFTER –
A new Georgia Front Porch portico transforms our customer’s home with a fresh, dramatic look.
It is approximately 9’ wide x 8’ and built over masonry sloop. An attractive, black aluminum rail and stone steps guide visitors up to the front door. Pitched gable roof features a tongue and groove cedar ceiling. The roof is supported by two 10” square cedar columns, trimmed top and bottom. The columns were placed on customer-provided stone piers. A beautiful hanging light fixture was wired and installed — centered over the front door. Georgia Front Porch also removed the existing roof over the front bay window and replaced it with a medium bronze-colored standing seam metal roof.
